This is not financial advice

CardClassroom is an educational and comparison site. Everything here — card comparisons, calculators, the credit simulator, guides — is general information published to help you do your own research. It is not financial, credit, legal or tax advice, and none of it is tailored to your circumstances.

We are not a bank, a lender, a credit repair organisation, a credit counselling agency, or a licensed financial adviser. We do not issue cards, approve applications, or make decisions about your credit. Whether you are approved, and on what terms, is entirely the issuer's decision.

Card terms change, and ours can be out of date

Our comparisons draw on a set of 20 cards compiled from issuer websites and other public information, last verified on February 10, 2026. Card issuers change APRs, annual fees, welcome bonuses, spending requirements and benefits whenever they choose, often without notice, and sometimes offer different terms to different applicants.

That means any rate, fee or bonus shown here may be wrong by the time you read it. Always confirm the current terms on the issuer's own application page before applying. The issuer is the authority on its own product; we are not. If you find something out of date, tell us through the contact page and we will correct it.

What the calculators and the simulator do

The balance transfer calculator, rewards calculators, wallet optimiser and credit score simulator are estimating tools. They apply straightforward arithmetic to the figures you enter and the assumptions shown on each page.

  • They do not read your credit file, contact any bureau, or know anything about your actual accounts.
  • The credit simulator produces an illustration of how a scoring model might respond to a change. It is not your score, not a prediction of your score, and not affiliated with FICO, VantageScore, or any bureau. Real scores depend on your full file and each lender's own model.
  • Rewards and cashback projections assume your spending stays as you entered it and that the card's current earning rates continue. Both assumptions frequently turn out to be wrong.

How we are paid, and no warranty

We may earn a commission when you apply for a card through links on this site, at no cost to you. That relationship is set out in full in our Advertiser Disclosure, and it does not decide which cards we rate well.

The site is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that it is accurate, complete, or available. To the fullest extent permitted by law we accept no liability for any loss arising from your use of this site or from a credit decision you made based on it, including interest, fees, or the effect of an application on your credit file. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Applying for credit can affect your credit score, and borrowing costs money. If you are struggling with debt, a non-profit credit counselling agency can help for free — that is a better first call than any comparison site, including this one.
